Chope St. was designed in collaboration with Chope, an urban design and lifestyle collaborative based in Los Angeles, CA.

"The objective was to create green infrastructure and incorporate  Hip Hop aesthetic and culture as an instrument of celebrating and empowering communities to harbor a more sustainable lifestyle through untraditional and creative means."

These modular public spaces are extensions of public sidewalks that use a pedestal system with outdoor rated tiles typically installed on commercial and residential rooftops. The proposal offers urban communities stormwater relief, while providing space for air purification and urban agriculture.
